Webmastery's Goal:
Webmastery is a set of forums for professional, novice and amatuer webmasters, intended to help small business and professionals get and/or maintain an online web presence, as well as assist in issues related to maintaining and promoting such a web presence.

80% of all small business is not yet online. Perhaps they don't know the steps, or how cheap it can be. We are here to change that, at least in some small way, and give back to the communities which have allowed us to thrive.

That said, we will be allowing competing services to post thier ads and offers (up to one post a month per the appropriate forum).


The Rules:
As we are just getting started, we have much to do. For now the guidelines are simple:

1) Post topics in the appropriate forum.

2) Mind your nettiquette (be courteous and professional, no flaming).

3) Keep your posts readable by all age groups (Webmastery is a family oriented G-Rated community).

4) No affiliate links are allowed. Affiliate links are not even allowed in signatures because affiliates do not provide support for the products they are selling and are therefore considered spam.

5) Only one ad for your products and/or services website is allowed in each appropriate forum every 30 days.

Example:
Do not post your web design service offerings in the web hosting forum, keep it in Web Design. However, if you not only offer wesite design services, but also offer dynamic web application programming, do post a development services related ad in the Site Development forum as well each month.

6) G-Rated Links to your real world sites (not affiliate links) are fine in your signature. Modify your signature in your Profile and it will update to all of your posts throughout the Webmastery forums.

Types of links that are NOT G-Rated:
Poker Links or any type of gambling links, whether the site is "free", uses play (fake) money or not, even if it is simply an instructional website.
Drug or pharmacuetical site links (no matter which country the company originates from).
Links to MLM sites, stuffing envelopes sites or any other type of "Get Rich Quick" scheme sites.
Pornography, nudity and links (also considered "XXX" or "Adult Site" links), including XXX cartoon sites.
Links to warez sites or sites offering illegal or otherwise unlicensed software.
Links to sites that promote hate, violence or othe illegal activitities.
